We provide basic training at induction stage and which, if not already attained, leads up to a minimum of Diploma (NVQ) level two in Health and Social Care. We are further committed to provide specialised training across our workforce to enhance the knowledge and understanding of autism related issues.

Each member of staff has an individual development plan which addresses identified needs, in order to develop competence in all areas of their work. Individual training needs are identified and mutually agreed during regular supervision sessions.

As Autism Support & Care has a diverse client group, staff are also trained in the following areas:
