Cognitive Behaviour Therapy
Cognitive Behaviour Therapy is an individualised and flexible programme/approach designed to ensure that not only are service users set clear achievable goals but also that the staff team are consistent in their low arousal approaches and acknowledging achievements.
The programme focuses mainly on emotional disorders such as anxiety and depression arising from negative thoughts and beliefs which is common amongst people with Autism. Therefore, emotional disorders are helped by changing negative thoughts and beliefs.
